Happy Friday! Here’s the last card sample from July’s Clean & Simple Card Class. I love that Pistachio Pudding paper! The stamp for this card comes from one of the great Project Life stamp sets, Remember This. Those sets are very versatile. Enjoy!

Tonight is my monthly card class with a fellow demonstrator. These classes are fun and one of my favorite nights of the month because I get to share my love of Stampin’ Up! with others. At these classes I design a few cards and my upline designs a few cards. The friends who come to the class get to create each of these designs and it’s always fun to see what extra they add. Some add a stamped image to the inside of the card or to the envelope. I’m not sure what I like best about card class, maybe just all of it from sitting creating at my desk to watching these customers turned friends create. Here’s one of tonight’s designs….
Hope to see you at a class soon!
This past weekend we got to meet the sweetest new baby girl. I got out my sewing machine before her arrival to make a little ribbon blanket swatch for her and of course a baby card. Can you spot some new products on the card? I could not wait to play with two of the new sneak peek products (now don’t you want to be a demonstrator so you too can take advantage of the sneak peek?!). I had some old retired pretty in pink scallop edge note cards from several catalogs ago that I have not used up yet so I grabbed one of those and used the new Modern Mosaic embossing folder. Then added some chocolate chip card stock with the new Mosaic punch. Add a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set and coordinating framelit and viola a sweet little notecard to go with the present.
I love making these sweet little ribbon blanket swatches. My eldest had one when she was a baby and would rub it on her face and play with all the fascinating ribbons. When my second child was on her way, I made one for her using some of the Stampin’ Up! fabric and coordinating it with her quilt and bumpers for her crib out of the same fabric. I have an abundance of ribbon (I might have a ribbon addiction) and this is the perfect way to use some of those old retired Stampin’ Up! ribbon spools for me. When I realized how quick these were to make I decided that since they were a success with my own girls that they would be great presents for friends and relatives babies. So every once in a while I pull out my sewing machine and make a few with my Stampin’ Up! fabric and ribbon. When I found out that my husband’s cousin was coming to town with her new baby girl, I just knew I had to make one for them. Hope their little girl enjoys it as much as our did.
I’m sorry I’ve been absent from my blog for far longer than I anticipated! I have a few samples in the works, so be expecting some posts in the upcoming weeks. Some will be samples from the last card class I had on April 30th and some will be all new samples. I hope you enjoy!
Since now is the time of year for retiring products from Stampin’ Up!, today’s card features a stamp set that I have really enjoyed for the past few years (yes it’s one that has been here for a couple of catalogs but never truly gets old!). I will be sad to see it go because it was one that I went to frequently. I saw a version of this card in the current catalog and thought I have got to create a card like that. Of course it never comes out exactly the same and that’s fun for me. I love being inspired by the catalog!
I wanted to create this card as a thank you for a few fabulous customers who placed online orders recently. Hope they enjoyed the circle surprise! Also love that most of the colors on this card will be part of the color refresh and will still be around to play with in the next catalog (to be released May 31st)!

Happy Friday! Here is the final design of my 3 cards for card class.
This one is very clean and simple. Hope you enjoy!
I like the patterned stamp from the Oh, Hello stamp set and thought it made a good background. Crumb cake and Chocolate Chip are two of my favorite colors and it was nice to showcase them as the card rather than just as basics to add words or sentiments or a neutral to a card full of color. Hope you enjoy!
Have a great weekend! See you soon!

Hello again! Another post this week, the 2nd of my 3 designs for card class from Monday.
I love the new Ciao, Baby! stamp set and cute coordinating punches. They are so small and perfect!! I just recently got the new Ovals Collection Framelits and the Oh, Hello stamp set and all of it just screamed to be used. I got the inspiration for this card from one of my favorite designers and fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrators (Amy). She does beautiful work! Here’s her blog post with the sample that inspired my design. I also loved how she rolled the ends of the banner tails instead of just adhering them down. So here’s what I came up with and I hope you enjoy. I love this color combination of Basic Gray, Primrose Petals, and Summer Starfruit. Enjoy!
Hope you have a Happy Day! Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you are having a great day and being told you are loved by friends and family!
I wanted to share my 1st grader’s Valentine’s for her teacher and classmates. She and I looked through some ideas on pinterest and couldn’t decide between a coloring idea and a candy idea so we chose to do both in one project. We both really liked how it turned out! She let me design one side of the card with MDS2 and then she stamped the Build-a-Bear images on the other side. On Valentine’s given to girls in her class she had the girl bear hold the purple card, and on Valentine’s that she was giving to boys in her class she had the boy bear hold the card. It was a great opportunity to craft together!
Hope you have a Valentine’s Day “Bursting with Color” as well!! Enjoy the day!
