Thursday I spent a bit of time adding to my stock pile of cards by creating some cards with the leftover supplies from card class. For the most part I was creating the same card from card class but for one card I changed it up a bit and wanted to share the result. The original card from Tuesday’s post.
With the paper already cut and colors decided, making alterations is so quick and easy! Now to just start creating cards with the box of extra supplies that has just been sitting in my craft closet collecting dust waiting for time to get around to it! I could be so much better prepared for family and friend’s events if I just spent a bit more time at my craft table! 🙂 And now onto the new card…
So a change in sentiment stamp and alteration to the ribbon as well as using the reverse side of the designer paper and the card has been transformed. I really love this color scheme and will definitely be using these colors together again in the future. Hope you enjoyed seeing how the same supplies can be transformed and got a bit of Friday inspiration! Enjoy your weekend and welcome February!!

Last night was a fun class, full of happy stampers creating cards. This is the last of the 3 designs I created for class. My upline Cheryl designed the other 5 for class and they were awesome!!
This card was a CASE from a friend and fellow demonstrator, Amy. I’ve been wanting to use the sweet elephant from the You’re Amazing stamp set and was inspired by her card. While I truly did not originally intend to use the same colors she used, as I was selecting papers based on my card stock supply and then read her ingredients and realized I just selected the 3 same colors! Apparently it was meant to be! My card is a much more basic version of hers which makes it easier for our card class that has a wide range of experience with stamping as well as fitting the 8 card creation in our desired time allotment. This card would be easy to take to the next level (as you can see in Amy’s card) by adding the blender pens or watercolor to the elephant. I like how this turned out and can’t wait to send it to someone for a birthday or maybe even congrats?! We’ll see.
Hope your week is good and that you have enjoyed the past 3 days of card class samples!
